Behringer X32 Compact

The Behringer X-32 Compact is a digital mixer that offers a total of 16 MIDAS preamplifiers, 40 inputs, 25 buses, 17 motorized faders, an LCD strip with information for each channel, a 32/32 sound card and remote control via iPad/iPhone.

There are 8 XLR connectors at the output + another 6 line inputs and outputs. There are two connectors for connecting headphones and a talkback section that can be used to communicate with musicians via a built-in or external microphone.

The sound card with USB 2.0 offers 32 input and output channels, so you can easily record the entire performance directly into the DAW on your computer. In addition, the console supports HUI and Mackie Control protocols, so you can easily use it to control your DAW.

The signal can be routed to the main LCR directive, six matrix busses, sixteen mix buses with inserts, eight DCAs and six mute groups. A six-band parametric equalizer is available for fine-tuning the color.

The mixer also contains rich equipment for dynamic and other signal processing - the virtual rack has slots for 8 stereo effects, among which you can find high-end emulations Lexicon 480L, PCM70, EMT250 or Quantec QRS.

Other features worth mentioning include, for example, advanced scene management, AES50 ports for connecting a digital stage box, USB type A connector, ULTRANET connectivity for connecting a Behringer P-16 wireless monitoring system, AES/EBU and MIDI connectivity, expansion slots with expansion cards and the option to update the firmware.
